Hands on Photography Workshops

It is an individual training in a small group (max 7-8), not a University lecture with 30 students in class. We focus on workshops to teach practice, creativity and camera techniques. It is a combined course to give your child an inside look not only how to take better images, but how to express themselves, how to look and see in a modern world. And what’s more, it is a fun way to spend Saturday and enjoy different type of course, in a photographic studio, with award winning photographer, photographing different models, different locations, and learning how to see more.

Each participant will end a course  with a certificate with a list of skills they developed and with a portfolio created during a course. Every week we will start with discussion on photographs participants took the previous week, to allow additional feedback and teach students to give feedback to themselves and communicate different objectives that can be added to their works.

Photography is not only ‘freezing’ a moment, it is an art that can show various social perspectives, it is a documenting skill, a techincal ability and spontanous reaction to press the shutter in a specific moment. Each course level, after 12 and after 24 weeks will end with a project, that students will create and work on during last 3 weeks of the course. The project will need to be presented on a collective of 6 images, with a short written statement about their work. Students will learn how to choose the images coherently and will be guided through the whole process to give them a chance to improve their skills, teach them how to present their works, how to defend their images and justify why they choose a certain pose, objective, light, camera parameters and what post production they used.
