The project is about duality between motherhood and still being an attractive women. It is meant to empower new mums, and encourage them to feel good about themselves and about their bodies. All women involved in the project were between 0-6 months postnatal, all of them signed up for the project by themselves, some encouraged by their friends to particpate.

Two images were created: one of a mum with a newborn/ young baby – capturing the bond, love and essence of mothehood. The second one is created to show the same mum in a different perspective – as an attractive women regardless her own complexes. Pure magic happens when you empower  women and I love that feeling. When she is becoming strong and feels good about herself, that is the time that she shifts the negative energy into positive one and is able to achieve more, to truly believe in herself.

I loved my reveal sessions, where I showed the portraits to a New Mum, they felt touched, surprised by how good they look, that they didn’t think of themselves in this way, or that ‘they lost it’; by ‘it’ meaning the hidden femininity inside.
